Located in the ChengDu-DeYang-MianYang Economic Corridor Core Area, QingBaiJiang covers an area of 379 square kilometers. With a permanent population of around 600,000, QingBaiJiang is one of ChengDu’s central urban areas, one of the three districts of China (Sichuan) Free Pilot Trade Zone and also the origin of China—Europe Railway Express ( ChengDu -Europe Express Railway).

Milestones

As the first industrial zone built in Southwestern China during the “First Five-Year Plan” period, QingBaiJiang has transformed its status from “a plant-affiliated area” to “an area emerging with industrial prosperity”.

In 1956, the SiChuan Fertilizer Plant was set up.

In 1958, the ChengDu Steel Plant was set up.

In 1960, the QingBaiJiang District was built.

In 2012, the ChengDu Railway Port was put into operation.

In 2013, the ChengDu -Europe Express Railway (also known as China—Europe Railway Express) was launched.

In 2014, old industries were gradually shut down.

In April 2014, QingBaiJiang was approved as a national temporary port for opening-up.

In 2015, QingBaiJiang was designated as the port for car whole vehicle import.

In 2016, the ChengDu Bonded Logistics Center (B-Type) was put under supervision of the customs and started operation.

In April 2017, the QingBaiJiang Free Trade Zone was set up.

In July 2017, QingBaiJiang was included in ChengDu’s central urban area.

In December 2017, QingBaiJiang was rated as the “Cross-Straits Industrial Cooperation Zone”.

In 2018, QingBaiJiang will carry forward its cause and forge ahead into the future.

Transportation Advantage

QingBaiJiang has the largest container center station in Asia, the largest railway hub in West China and an intense highway transport network. Aviation, high-speed railway, light rail, expressway and fast track—all these together have formed a multi-layer three-dimensional traffic system.

Resource support

Water: QingBaiJiang has built a water supply channel for industrial use, thus realizing separation of water for domestic use and production use.

Electricity: The electric power installed capacity of QingBaiJiang is 3.55 million kilovolt-ampere (KVA), which can ensure multi-circuit and multi-feed power supply.

Gas: QingBaiJiang is the largest natural gas transmission and distribution center in Southwestern China. Its daily gas supply capacity is 12 million standard cubic meters. This has helped realized dual-gas source supply for enterprises.

Sewage: QingBaiJiang has nine sewage treatment plants with their daily sewage treatment capacity close to 170,000 tons.

QingBaiJiang District has complete commercial and living facilities. With a pleasant ecological environment, QingBaiJiang’s urban greening coverage has reached 48.01%. Here, you can experience a leisure and secure slow life by visiting many scenic spots (including QingBaiJiang Phoenix Lake Ecological Wetland Resort Zone, LongQuan Mountain City Forest Park, YiHu Park and ChengXiang Ancient Town), taking part in a series of activities (including cherry Blossom Tourism and Culture Festival, YaoDu LongMen Peach Flower Festival and FuHong Apricot Flower Festival), and trying different tourist facilities (including Dragon King Fishing Base and RenHe Mountain Biking Sports Base).

Administrative service

QingBaiJiang has implemented the “Four-Three” work model to accelerate investment and construction of key projects. It includes process reconstruction “three-phases” (project application and approval, construction application and preparation, construction and verification), project application and handling “three-in-one” (one application, one-window handling, one notification), and project promotion “three concentrations” (concentrated joint hearing, concentrated acceptance, and concentrated guarantee), and approval service “three optimizations” (planning approval, construction approval and project service).
